Miles had a lot of fun this Christmas season. He started to understand Santa Claus and he would walk around as say "Merry Christmas!" This is Miles on Christmas morning walking over to see his presents. He was so cute, after he unwrapped one gift, he just wanted to play with it instead of opening the rest of his gifts. We had to kind of push him along. He loved everything he opened.
The following pictures were taken on Christmas Eve. We thought we'd let Miles open a couple gifts.
A big thank you to those who sent presents for Miles. He loved everything and is having so much fun with his new stuff. Lamar and I are very grateful for our friends and family this holiday season.
Miles is really...I mean REALLY into trains right now. One of his favorite shows is "Choo Choo Soul" on the Disney channel. He always asks to watch it. He also loves "The Polar Express", which started at his Grandparent's Breshears house over Thanksgiving. Luckily it was on TV one day and I recorded it...because he asks to watch it all the time. My grandparents gave Miles a train set to play with. He was in 7th heaven...for a while. The train didn't last too long (not being made for rough and tumble 2 year olds) but he had a lot of fun while it worked. We told him that we needed to get a new train, so he keeps saying "new train mommy?" I think Miles just might be in luck because I heard that Santa may have something up his sleeve. A replacement train perhaps?
Lamar and I are thankful for so many things this holiday season. Freedom - Love - Opportunity - Food & Shelter - Friends - Family - much more! We celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday with family in the Seattle area...
I just love this picture of Jackson! It makes me smile every time I see it!
One of the most amazing parts of being Miles' mother, is noticing how he brightens the days of others. When we are out doing errands, Miles is always so smiley and friendly to the people we encounter. I can see people light up when they get smiles from Miles.
